Topic: CSB (no bat box) > JB3? Can it be done?

In a pinch to stealth some shows next weekend (HR of Bad Brains doing a reggae tour) and it looks as though the only stealth gear I'll be able to borrow is some CSB's w/ no bat box and a JB3. Will it work at all? These should be smallish GA shows. So I assume I can get pretty close to the stacks if need be.

don't think the jb3 has plug-in power...CSB's require ~9v of power

Hmmm that sucks. Anyone have a battery box I could use? Or some different stealth gear I could borrow? I'd really like to snag these shows. The reviews have been amazing and I seriously doubt that there will be any other tapers.

Had a death in the family, moved to southern Va, bought a new house that I'm fixing up, got a new puppy, and just all in all been way too busy for shows or being online much. Things are starting to settle down a bit now though.

I know I could do a search, but I have always assumed that the jb3 has mic in capabilities. Not that you would really want to run mic-in due to brickwalling issues, but without a battery box it would work in a pinch.
