I can't find anything on this forum about this device.  I am looking for a hd player which I can also use with an external microphone to record my concerts.  I am leaning toward the archos gmini 400, but saw this online and it looked promising.  Does anyone know anything about it?

seems it does not record in wav format.

As stated in the above post, " it doesn't record in wav format" so don't waste your time with it. If you aren't looking to spend too much on a hd recorder try the yard sale on this board or ebay and get yourself a used JB3. There are other options out there, just depends on how much bread your willing to part with.
