Kwon bars: cap maker interchangability?
« on: October 09, 2005, 10:51:30 PM »
I have never played around with other active setups to know whether or not you could use Schoeps actives with a Neumann kwon bar or vise versa (or MBHO).  I know there would be a spacing issue sicne the caps lengths are of different sizes.  But in a pinch, would a Schoeps active set up fit a Neumann Kwon bar?  Any first hand experinces?

i tried to use freelunch's schoeps kwon bars with my neumann's, but the holes were too small.  i'd imagine if you were trying to put schoeps in a neumann bar they'd fit but would be rather loose.

Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose.

If you wrap the connectors in a little foam they will probably fit. Thats how I got my 4022s to fit in my schoeps kwon bar.
