Topic: spark xl 2.8 help...

i just installed spark xl 2.8 and had a few questions:
-do you use sounddesinger II or w64 when recording 24/96? and why?
-when i record in either of those formats it works but i am unable to listen during playback, the file is there and visible but no sound plays when i play it?
-i tried the batch converter to dither and resample to 16/44.1 but got an error, i noticed a resample function and used it that worked, is there a dither function also?

hope that makes a little sense 
any info grately appreciated, thanks in advance

1. Either works, but w64 seems to be supported by more PC applications if that matters to you. I don't recall if the SDII in Spark is the extended version or not, so I just stuck with w64.

2. What is your output audio device? Does it support 24/96 playback?

3. I've never had an issue with the batch converter. What was the error? I don't think the dither function exists elsewhere.

I had a similar problem. Try switching the destination folder (top right corner) to 'desktop', and make sure the dither is set to 'ultra noise shaping'.
