ck61 Internal Metal Screen - Defect?

Recently got a new pair of ck61's, and the first thing I noticed upon examining the caps is that the internal metal screen protecting 1 of the 2 seems to be offcenter on one of the 3 sides (see picture below).  The center section has a little silver strip that looks like adhesive, and the seam is visible.  The other cap shows none of this, so it looks like this one is just slightly twisted within the capsule exposing the adhesive.

I couldn't think of any possible way this would create any audible issues, but was curious if anyone else's caps showed this and if anyone knew anything about it.  Probably just thinking about it too much.

I'd send them to AKG in Tennessee and see wtf is up personally

and at that point, you're only paying for one capsule

Ive been tossing the idea around to send them my pair of ck62's, just so they can get a clean bill of heath since one has grey plastic in the base of the capsule and the other has the white and they're off about 3db of each other, no big deal, but a clean bill of health is ALWAYS nice

nope, neither do, looks like a chicklet on the capsule

62's don't have open sides though, so you wouldn't see it.

Haven't asked the seller, but will likely send them an email with the above pictures tomorrow to see what they say.  Actually, forget that - I'll go straight to AKG.  Seller will probably just say "It's fine, won't affect the sound", but I'd rather trust the manufacturer to make that call.

Appreciate the info, I'll let you know if they tell me anything.
