Hopeful I can locate the older 2000/3000 ES. One Call only offers the current 2100/3100 unless I am missing something.

looks like you missed it.  it was an open box buy. keep checking back. me and at least a few others went this route. or try ebay.

there are a few new 3000's being sold on ebay for $429 buy it now, but no shipping cost listed.

be careful with those...I was told that a number of the original units that had the static problem were being sold on the grey market, and if you didnt buy it from an authorized dealer, they would not repair...

the older 2000ES, 3000ES and 5000ES all use the digital amp processing...as I understand it...all models under the current 7100ES dont use the digi processing, which is really where the benefit is of the sony amps.
