Well, I guess if you're paying $240 for a piece of wood, $7000 for a volume knob, and $30,000 for speaker cable... spending 800 dollars on a box to break-in your shit doesn't look so bad.

I believe that IRON CHEF on the Food Network has scheduled a Cable Cookoff sometime in March!

Come to think of it, The Food Network is a cable cooking network...

One final thought, why bother to have a standard version for $130 less. This cable cookerdoes not appear to be designed for the "I need to cut corners" crowd.

I've noticed that when I remove the shrink wrap from new CD recordings, if I use a genuine Swiss Army knife the sound on the CD is enhanced somewhat. If I just use my finger nails, the sound is duller. Also If I open them when I'm sitting on the toilet with my finger nail, they sound falls somwhere between the enhanced and dull sound. I haven't tried using the genuine Swiss Army knife on the toilet yet... I'll let you know how that goes...

Those rocks and finger links are awesome. I'm sure the burning in thing has truth. It is sort of over my head though. I can almost grasp that stuff. The problem is that I cannot see myself ever having the resources to be perfect with every section of recording through playback. As a matter of fact I have been listening mostly to MP3's on my iPod in the last year. As long as I can hear the lyrics and notes the songs sound good to me.
