I went with this

transfer:  MT > HD > Flac (untracked) > DVD-R (by Lee)
             DVD-R/Flac > HD > wave > cd wave > wavelab 5.01b > flac frontend level 6 (by Gordon)

i rarely list all that, do whatever you want- people are looking for no eac and the mics, they generally could care less about the rest

I went with this

transfer:  MT > HD > Flac (untracked) > DVD-R (by Lee)
             DVD-R/Flac > HD > wave > cd wave > wavelab 5.01b > flac frontend level 6 (by Gordon)

thats about how i would do it, personally i'd do it as:

MT > USB 2.0 > HD/PC > FLAC(Untracked) > Data DVD-R > HD/PC > FLAC Frontend > WAV > CD Wave > WAV > Wavelab 5.01b(Resample/Etc) > FLAC Frontend-Level 6 > FLAC

But i like to be as specific as possible when listing lineage/source info, cant hurt to be overspecific and list everything since there are so many variables, sometimes i even list HD/PC info as my HP Pavilion :)

i'm looking at these and wondering.  are you splitting the tracks in wavelab and then ditering and resampling track by track?  ???

i usually go into wavelab first (where i dither and resample the entire wave at once) and then into cd wave where i track it out....

track in cdwave and then do a batch process with the 24 bit files.  then you have both sets (16 and 24) tracked.

you can use the same cue sheet to track the 24bit and 16bit large file, unless that's what you meant (the batch process sounds like you are processing individual files to me)

well the batch does do it track by track but it's easy and does it on it's own.  joe w taught me how to do it that way and this is only the second 24 bit show I've transferred.  after doing it you may have to run it through shntool before flacing.  not sure how to get around the 2gig limit in wavelab to do the whole file.
