All you need to add is a recording device.  Go out and get an iRiver ihp-120 or a JB3 and you'll be good to go.

You could go the MD route. It will work, but some models are far better than others. Not sure what model you were looking at, but the MZ-M100 MZ-M10, MZ-RH10, MZ-RH910 models allow you to manually adjust the gain on them and allow you to record uncompressed PCM audio. I believe these models will also allow you to D/L the recordings onto your computer via USB also.

I have used a MD in the past for quite some time with little or no problems, but I must admit I like my NJB3's better. I don't know much about the i-rivers, but I hear they're pretty solid and growing in popularity also.

You might be able to pick one up used in the yard sale on here for a decent price.

Ok, I think I will just save some money and get a JB3 off the yard sale, I need an MP3 player anyways.

You will be able to manually adjust the analog-in levels on the NJB3 also. For me, It's just really nice having 2-20 gig recorders that can record uncompressed wav's and not having to buy blanks all the time and deal with disc flipping.

Last thing about the NJB3... it's fragile. It will break if it's not babied, like the power button, scroll wheel, HD etc. Brian put together decent NJB3 info here that will come in handy if you decide to go NJB3:

I just looked at the i-river ihp-120 and it looks alot smaller then the JB3, it might be easyer to sneek in.

Thanks for the help!  I ended up getting the Iriver 120.  Just tested it out with the mics and it really sounds awsome.  I didnt even need the batter box.  I have to say for stealth the Iriver is the way to go and with the remote you dont even have to get the recorder out of your pocket!

Best $120 I ever spent!
