i got some battery powered christmas lights i put on the bottom on the legs
4 aa batts and they last like 20 hrs

Lowe's is now selling in their check out lines, situated near the flashlight section, neon orange strips about eight inches long by one inch wide that flash bright orange, and they would be ideal to tape/lash onto a mic stand at head height to get people's attention, I think they blink on and off too, run on watch battery or something, around $12
