Topic: MOTU Traveler & Windows XP

I just pulled the trigger on a Traveler and I am stoked about it!    I was wondering what would be the best software to use for Windows XP?  I was thinking Sonar but was just wondering what everyone else was using.  Any help appreciated.

I hate Sonar, but that's just me.

I use my Traveler with Cubase SE on my Powerbook, and mix in Nuendo 1.62 on my XP machine (the Traveler does the D/A)

I've always been a fan of Steinberg products, so I would recommend them on an XP platform over anything else.  There are lots of good choices out there - it really depends on what you're going to use it for and how much you want to spend.

Really the only thing i would be using it for would be to record guitar, vocals and an occasional audience recording/sbd matrix.  Really not into midi or anything.  In looking some more, sonar probably does way too much for what i need it for.  I will look into cubase.  thanks man,

$99 bucks (and under).  Can't beat that for the features it provides.  Yes it's a stripped down version, but it has more than enough for what you want it for.  It works great for me when I run 16 tracks live...
