I want connect an AT822 mic to an AD-20.

The AT822 come with 2 cables,
one ends in an unbalanced stereo 3.5mm male mini,
the other ends in 2 unballanced mono 3.5mm male mini which incl. adapters to make it 2 x mono male 1/4inch plugs.
The AD-20's accepts 2 mono XLR ballanced males.

Is it sufficient to use 2 simple plug adapter as this one:

Or do I need a transformer/isolator box as this one:

like Brian suggested I might in my original thread: http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=67903.0;all
Everything you do through out the day, every thought and every feeling leaves an impression stored inside you.
These impressions create tendencies, their sum total is your character.

the dual mono ended cord with those adapters, while not the cleanest solution, will be more than adequate for your needs.
