Tmod UA-5 (hiss question)

so i just got this ua5 not to long ago and taped a few shows with no probs, and then a couple weeks ago the peak light went nuts and wouldnt go off no matter what the levels were set to...and after i checked the recording the left channle has a buch of hiss on it :( ive taped a few more shows after this and it is still the same every time.has anybody ever has this prob and what could i do to get it checked out & fixed?

just call oades, they will tell you what you need to do. thier modifications void the original warranty but they will fix it im sure
