Neumann Repair?

I have a friend with some KM84's that he would like tuned up and some issues worked out.  Anybody have some places in the US that have a good reputation for mic repair?  I tried the search function, but didnt turn anything up very useful.

the caps were off over 10 db's.  they replaced the connection between the caps and the "active" cables.  they called them the lemo connection.  not sure if that's what it really was or just a generic term they used.  cost me $95 which included shipping back to me.  they sound so much better now.

I have been thinking about doing this for a while just for them to give my skm kit a 'once over'.  Now may be the time.  +T for the info

Phil,  you have the original LC3 cables that have a Lemo connection at the body connection part or did they ADD a Lemo connector in your cable?  Were the caps off by 10dB without the LC3 in the scheme (using the bodies only)?

no, they were the new style connection.  that's why i think they were just using the term lemo generically. 

and i didn't even think to try taking the lc3 out of the equation.
