Where to get fake glasses

Does anyone have a source/link to get fake glasses.  I bought some reading glasses with 1.25 diopters, but they are too strong. I am afraid they will give me a headache after a whole show,  not to mention I look strung out because my eyes are trying to compensate for them.  8)

goto the dollar store, buy a cheapo pair of reading glasses, bust out the lenses, presto! cheap, fake glasses w/out headaches :D

I found my at the eyeglass store in the mall.  They seemed to have a bunch of extra frames with regular no-magnification lenses in the back room.  Maybe samples or something.  Tell them you're an actor and need them for a theatrical performance and they might give them to you for free.

I got a pair of sunglasses at wal-mart that has a very light tint, I've been using these, never had a second look.

I've tried to find them again since to get another pair, but haven't had any luck, maybe yours will be better.

Here are some glasse I have around the house.  I am thinking the lizard eyes will work the best.  Standing perfectly still just staring at the band, I shouldnt stand out.  I can also check levels without being conspicuous.  ;)

check out the local optometrist.  i bet they would sell you one of the model's on shelves pretty cheap.  maybe something laying behind the counter.  i've gotten replacement pairs like that before, paid like $15 for frames not counting the addidtion i had to spend on new lenses.  ebay?

I use sunglasses with a light tint.

I would tell people I'm light sensitive, but no one has ever asked.
