Hello,I'm new to this forum, so I apologize, if this questions did already appear somewhere in this forum.Would the edirol r-09 and the Sony ECM 717 microphone would work with the phantom power? Thanks!
Ok, thanks foor the answers!I was using an Sony TCD-D7 with the ECM 717 with phantom power for years, and now the TCD-D7 crashed. So I want to upgrade to an flash card recorder.

When you say plug in power its 1.2 volts to 10 volts. Plug in power is what your Dat uses. Phantom is what a Balanced XLR on a preamp uses to power condenser mics. Plug in power is for Electret mics. I was confused by your use of the term phantom sorry for the misunderstanding.

So I thought "phantom power" was the right word for it.So has the edirol r09 the possibility for "plug-in power" then? Is it possible to use the ECM 717 with an edirol r09 at all? Thanks
