Shure Vert Bar & M/S setup confusion
« on: February 22, 2007, 05:44:21 PM »
I just got a vert bar and a 414 in today and was wanting to run m/s tonite in conjunction with a C4 card. my question is how do i get more space between the posts on the vert bar? right now my and 414 are in the same plane. any ideas or does this sound like jibberish?  ???

do you have a clamp?  If so attach a c4 shockmount to the clamp, affix the clamp to the stand and use it to position the c4 relative to the 414 affixed to the stand via the sure vert bar.

I don't think this will help, but don't forget you can unscrew the vert bar and flip the pieces and screw it back together to get a little more room between the mounts -- but I doubt that's going to help you here.
