have a question.
i was yesterday recording "the ghost rockets" in a little youth centre (i think there´ve only been around 4-5m between the stage and the wall of the other side ^^
my setup was: MBHOs @DIN (20cm/90°) on a micstand at 2,20m -> mic2496 (gainlevel at minimum) -> microtrack (spdif-in @2496)
as a result of the small distance between the boxes and my microphones the record has this annoying clipping at many points (i had no possibility to reduce the input level (i need some of those attenuatorpads for the mbhos - so if someone has some which he dont need... pm me..)

whats the reason of these "clicks" and what is this called?
they appear on silent parts too and sound like this:
