File Extension error ??
« on: May 28, 2007, 12:00:43 PM »
Im just started to get this message when trying to rename files. It just started when I rebuilt my comp. "renaming this file may make it unusable". I dont know how to fix. Thanks

Yes, it's got to do with file extension. I have a dutch version of windows, but make sure you have your folder options set to 'show file extions'. That way, if you change a file name you can make sure you keep the extension (file type) intact.

tony - - see the screencap.  you'll want that option turned ON to have that warning message go away.
