How are you guys getting the new batteries installed on the iHP-120?
The location of the board mounted connector makes it difficult to remove and install a new one. Are you just cutting the leads and twisting, soldering the old wires to the new batteries wires?

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

Personally i've never soldered the connection - i find removing the battery easier, a la  the link in the faq http://www.misticriver.net/wiki/index.php/H1xx_Internal_Battery_Replacement

There's also a theory (yet to be proved) that soldering can cause damage that leads to ballooning. *shrug* I just stick with the way i know works.

I've done the battery replace trick 3 times now on my h380 and I always disconnect with the connector.
The h380 must be at least as difficult to do this ;)

Hi, I'm about to buy a CameronSino 2200 mAh battery, and would like to know if you are happy with your battery now? Does full-charge last what you expected it to?
Is it exactly the same size as the original battery, dows it fit in the unit without problem?

Thank you.

Battery life is fantastic.  I recorded two shows this week with great success.  I probably had 90% charge remaining after each show.  Rockbox tells me it will last 15 hours, but I assume recording may use it up a little faster.

The battery fit fine in my H320.  Just be careful packing it back together and take your time tucking the wires out of the way.
