OK, since I'm blind, and am memorizing the menus and their options, can I varify with you fine people thatthe menu structure and options are as follows? By the way, thanks Edirol/Roland for not making the menus wrap-around type, and not nesting them inside each otherseveral layers deep. A little memorizing, and I'l be fine with this recorder - not so for the Microtrak I'm trying to sell. Also, the controls feel solid, or at least more predictable than that silly NAV-wheel on the Microtrack. (misgivings about battery door, but few people report any problems with it)
In the list that follows, I numbered the main menu items, lettered the sub-menu items, and hopefully I have the available choices for each item listed correctly from left to right, in parentheses.
Additions/corrections welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Two unrelated R-09 questions: If you can't recharge NiMH cells inside the unit, why is there a menu item for specifying battery type? Do alkalines and NiMH's really differ that much during their discharge cycle?
and,
Under what conditions have you folks noticed your settings being reset? I assume settings hold if you swap out the SD card or batteries quickly. Is installing new Firmware about the only time - unless you leave the R-09 in a drawer for a month - that things will reset back to factory defaults?
