SoniCase question: 3-shelf v. 4-shelf dimension difference?

I've only ever had a 4-shelf SoniCase.  I'm wondering if the 3-shelf SoniCase is a different size, or if the 4-shelf is the same size as the 3-shelf but simply includes an additional shelf?

I assume the L and H are the same on both bags, with the difference lying in the width.  Zipped up / closed for rigidity, and measuring the equivalent of the inner dimension (see pic), my 4-shelf measures ~8.5", front to back.  Will someone with a 3-shelf measure in similar fashion and post the results?  (No pic necessary, I posted one to illustrate how I measured so someone else could duplicate the same measurement.)

Thanks, guys.  A follow-up question:  how many shelf sleeves do your 3-shelf SoniCases have in them?  The one in the pic has 2 shelf sleeves with plastic inserts for rigidity, and one empty shelf insert, for a total of 3 sleeves, but only 3 shelves instead of 4 (putting an insert into the 3rd sleeve would make it a 4-shelfer).  I'm assuming it's actually a 4-shelfer disguised as a 3-shelfer, but since I've never owned a 3-shelfer I'm trying to confirm one way or the other.  From the measurements, sounds like I have the 4-shelfer.  Seems like the question about the 3rd shelf sleeve ought to wrap up confirmation mine's a 4-shelfer, with 3 sleeves, but only 2 inserts.

You're correct.  I'm the confused one.  Modified my question to (try to) make it more clear.  The pic you show is exactly what I have, only the divider between the 3rd and 4th shelf doesn't have an insert, it's just an empty sleeve.  I'm assuming the true 3-shelfers don't have the shelf/sleeve shown in your pic between shelf 3 and 4.

  Been there, done that.  I suspected that might've happened, but I was genuinely confused about the differences between the 3- and 4-shelf.  Thanks, Kevin, and everyone else for the assistance.
