If you can find them I'd recommend getting a pair of Hosa Pro Gold RCA or 1/4" cables and then a Y adapter or Y-cable to jump those down to 1/8".  The Hosa Pro cables are super heavy duty and nicely shielded, I just used the RCAs last night with zero RF interference.  You're realistically using maybe a 10 foot cable, you're not in great danger of trouble as long as you keep the cables away from any power cables.  Here's the part numbers:

Dual RCA Pro Gold Cables - http://www.hosatech.com/hosa/products/CRA-400G.html
Dual 1/4" Pro Gold cables - http://www.hosatech.com/hosa/products/CPP-400G.html
Dual RCA to 1/8" adapter plug - http://www.hosatech.com/hosa/products/GRM-193.html
Dual 1/4" to 1/8" adapter Y-cable - http://www.hosatech.com/hosa/products/ymp-137.html

I bought mine at FullCompass since it's 5 minutes from my house but I'm not sure what sort of shipping times/costs they have.  Check some music stores but if nothing else you can probably find them for cheap online.
Really not very evil at all now...
