CD Wave Cue sheet problem
« on: October 31, 2007, 10:04:28 PM »
is there a way to change where CD Wave looks for the file when opening a cue sheet?  i tracked out a show in 24 bit at work and then brought it home and want to open the cue sheet with he new 16 bit file.  CD Wave is still looking for the file on my work computer and give me this error message: "the system can not find the path specified."

thanks in advance.

I load up the 24 bit and track and save files and cue sheet.
Then load up 16 bit first.  Click open cue sheet.  Select the cue from above. It will ask you if the 24 bit file is the one you want.  You click no.  It should insert the cue into the 16 bit.

Open the cue sheet in Notepad and change the path to your file.

you can also open up the WAV file at home, and then load cue sheet.  it will then ask if it should open up the file (it will reference the one at your Work directory), and you can say NO, and it will apply the cue marks on to the file you have opened on the screen.
