Trying to download Audacity for a few days now. Keep getting error messages? Can you suggest Any other freeware like it?

It's like the download section of the website is not working.

Something like unable to connect to www.audacity385769492240 ect.......

been that way for a while now.

I can't get to the Audacity sourceforge site.  Not sure what the problem is but it doesn't look isolated to you.  I have the Windows ver. 1.2.6 from Sept. here on my hard drive.  I could sendspace it to you if you want.

The Audacity sourceforge site appears to be up now and I could download now.  But, in case you are still having troubles here is a sendspace of the install file.
