I saw a rumor that they are Sennheiser capsules.  I do not know.  I have a pair, not R's, and like them.

That is pretty neat...  Unless otherwise told, I was expecting something like Panasonic WM60 or something.

Those look similar to the ones in the MKE2002 binaural head.
If so, then I'd say those are a bit out of date and newer/smaller omnis like MKE2 are going to sound better.
For cardioids, though, the similar sized MKE40 capsule do sound really good.  Need to fix bass rolloff though.
