For the money, I'd say get both the CA-14 cards and then experiment with placement, etc. You may find one works better or sounds better to your own ears. I know Chris has a bundle available for both CA-14's with the 9100 pre. His current deal (for TS members) is both CA-14 mics and a preamp for US$279 (~€210) with airmail shipping. You'll also need a 1/8" cable to get from the preamp to the deck - I had a techflex one made with right angle for the recorder and a straight connector into the preamp; IIRC it was around US$20 (~€15). Look at this way, with the €110 you're saving on not getting the D50, you're paying €115 for the mics and a preamp with cable.
Also, be forwarned that your order will take a few weeks to be built, tested, and sent out (once you pay via PayPal) but his stuff is well worth the money (many people here have said as much). There is better out there but it will cost significantly more.
