RX declip and further processing

Hi!
I am sure I read in some thread here a while ago about using the declip function in RX, and then running some other procedure after to get rid of remaining distortion (?), but I cannot find the topic anywhere... Anyone else know what I am looking for?

I'm not sure if it's been discussed before, but I'm interested. I've tried to use the function several times. One time it worked very well. But the other times I have tried I've gotten very little to no improvement. If anyone has expertise with this function it would be great to hear from you.

Sometimes de-click works better. Use the “output clicks/etc only” option to hear exactly what’s being removed.

De-clip will generate a file with higher level, sometimes much higher, so assess if you need to lower gain.

Assuming you are 24 bit, amplify -10dB then apply declip

Amplify to taste next
