Has you been running it on the 9v battery? Documentation says 1 9V can power 2 48v mics for 4+ hrs., is this accurate?

I can run 2 mics on P48V for 3 hours with just 2 AAs in my pre

Stealthing a V3 and 6v battery is easy if there isn't a heavy pat-down.  Pat-down, well...while some people might be able to get away with it, I don't think I'd be able to manage it.

Slim 3-pocket/section fanny pack - SLA in one side pocket, D100 on the other, V3/mic bodies in the middle.  No pat-down, no problem.

that's what i figured, i guess the question was more directed for heavy pat-down situations.... seems almost impossible by yourself.

Tell me about it.  I just picked up that walmart batt today.  Charged it up and connected for a test, just to see how long it'd last.  I'm at 2 1/2 hours and it still shows a full charge.  This thing is awesome!

my current stealth rig is 4022 > mp2 > d100, but i've yet to try the combination out.  when i had my 140s i ran ak40s > lc3ka > km100 > mp2 > d100 and the combination sounded pretty good when i didn't screw something else up.    i'll have to admit i don't miss fussing around with the bodies, they were kind of a pain in the ass.

or is that some sort of stealth trade secret?

easiest is the old "false bottom" of my backpack.  v3 & battery in the bottom covered with a thin layer of foam and black fabric that matches the backpack lining.  Throw a rain jacket or some other b.s. on top.  works for light pat downs where they merely look into the bag.  just had to do this a few months back for a festival in Philly.

believe it or not, I've crotched one a few times, too.  actually it was a v2 back then.  baggy pants, lycra shorts.

i heard if you call grace they will walk you though on how to re-calibrate it to a 6V.  i should look into this.  wouldn't mind investing in a stealth rig in the future and it would be sweet to use my V2!
