Yeah it might be easier to transfer stuff because you don't need a digital soundcard to convert, but what could be easier than putting a tape in a deck and pushing record?
Yeah, my thing was the equivalent thing. He probably means that they are both used to as recorders, but they aren't equivalent when you look at spec kinds of things.
I am interested in buying that $75 mic...anyway, where can I get a JB3 and for how much? I was also wondering, can I somehow use my MD player to record, I know people record onto MDs, but I don't get how.

hahahahahahahahahahahahah sorry dude...I've never used a DAT either, but I was talking more about DAT's having way better A/D converters, primarily. That, to me, is the biggest downfall of the NJB3.oh, and +t
You sure can, but you'll still need an external pre-amp/battery box because the pre-amps in the MDs overload too easily.
