How do I pull a file off the JB3(JB3 OWNERS please help..)
« on: December 06, 2006, 07:18:54 PM »
I tried the FAQ,but does not list a step by strp process on how to unload a file. All my soft wares installed and it shows when I plug the usb in when I open playcenter.shows a transfer I selected that and it seleced a diercory but never uploaded a file.

If I had a manual Ide be done. is there a printable version ??

all my gear works great just want to unload the test file. these files get saved as .wav? or WMA

it saves as a wav
what program are you using? if you are using the creative program you should see on the side where you can click and then somewhere it will say transfer or download or something
i forget exactly since i have not used the jb3 with windows in a long time

im using playcenter.

try using creative file manager
i think thats the one you need
playcenter i think is just for playing and organizing files after they are on your comp
if you don't have it figured out i will see if i still have the programs on my pc at work tomorrow

im still having issues with my playcenter and im not sure what sound card is in this e-machine.

You don't need a soundcard to transfer the JB3 files.  You should need only one driver and one application on your PC to transfer files to/from the JB3.  This still comes up frequently enough, Nomadness may or may not host them any longer, and the Creative site doesn't make it easy to get to the files, so I've added them to TS Reference:

TS Reference | Software | JB3

Uninstall any JB3-related software you've installed, and re-install just the proper driver and NOMAD Explorer.

On a separate, unrelated note, sounds like from your follow-up note you need to re-install your soundcard drivers.

I've also updated the JB3 FAQ to list the above driver / application location.
