at this point I would remove the hard drive completely and get it connected to a computer one way or another.
Once connected you can try several things. Just that alone might be able to access the files.
If the data is corrupted than you can try data recovery tools.
I'm in the process of dealing with this myself as I had my computer lock up in the middle of trying to transfer files from the HD-P2 to the computer and now the flash is corrupted and the data just might be lost...

Funny I was thinking how reliable the JB3 has been and easy to use all the way around compared to what I am going through now..
